Denis Boytsov fighting on sept 24th??

Who's he beat to be consider a prospect, much less the best prospect. As far as Im concerned , David Rodriquez has 10X the potential since he has ONE solid win over a Cclass fighter in Beck.

 

Pala, Bidenko, Gavern are all 10x better wins than Beck..

 

The guy is right Bidenko is pretty good much better than Beck. If Bidenko had a better chin he could be a contender.

Beck is a human punching bag who gets knocked out for a living. He has lost 5 fights in a row by knock out.

 

5 years ago, Beck was considered a top contender himself. Sure he has faded since then, but unlike Bidenko, Pala, and gavern, he was considered a legit contender, even fighting in a title eliminator vs Barrett.

Rodriquez is 33, in his prime, and moving ahead. He's way underrated at 87th, and will move up quickly when he beats another Cclass fighter like Gavern or Quintana. I hope his mgmt takes his career seriously rather quickly, because we could be looking at another Corrie Sanders here, and time is short.

IMO, he is the ONLY legit threat to the Kbros and his fighting style is very close to my AT fav fight Jimmy the Sandman Thunder. I'm a fan of Rodriquez and IMO he KTFO of Boystov, Potvetkin, Chambers, and ANY and ALL other contender accept Helenius.

He does seem to have something about him, wouldn't mind seeing him face Amir Mansour. Two fighters that are late in their career and haven't achieved what they're capable of for various reasons. The winner would stand a small chance of fighting a Klitschko, they may as well take a chance against 50/50 opposition, time is not on their side.

Rodriquez was actually in talks with Tyson Fury about 6 months ago so he seems to be taking it serious now.

His opponents have been ****, no doubt about it but in fairness he does usually crush them within a minute. I would never completely write off someone like that.

He did an interview on East side boxing talking about why he couldn't get the fights he wanted, he seemed adamant that he was going to step up this year. He has a fight lined up for October against an unnamed opponent, personally I'll give him the benefit of the doubt until that opponent is named.

We are talking about someone who is a serious fighter Boytsov. Not someone who spent 12 years fighting Butterbean left overs and then stepped up to fight one top 200 ranked HW in the World.
