This guy has a good record and has beaten Bidenko, Hawkins and Maddalone and he is only 23. He knocked out Bidenko much easier than Virchis and the giant Valuev was taken the distance by Bidenko in only his forth fight as a pro he took him twelve rounds.
If there is a young heavyweight prospect better than this 23 year old who is it?

He is the best heavyweight prospect right now, although he's about to outgrow that label. A couple more performances like the Bidenko one, and he'll be a full fledged contender. As impressive as that win was, he's still got some things to work on.

Do we still consider Povs a prospect?

If so I'd say he's the most developed prospect out there although I'm still partial to the flashy guys like Fury, Wilder and what have you.

Maybe the best young heavy. He's a tad short, and needs more seasoning.

When I saw that he bulked up, I was a bit skeptical. Boytsov's quickness was his best trait coming up...he was extremely fast for a HW with power.

However, he looks good at 220...a bit more flat footed, but the power is there. He also showed really great patience against Bidenko.

Guy is a decent fighter who has a fast jab, is able to counterpunch a little bit and he moves well. But he does get sloppy especially with his right hand and misses big sometimes. When he misses he looks kind of out of it for a while and is open defensively.

I don't wanna discredit the win over Bidenko but all it took was about 1 minute to know who the winner of this fight was gonna be. Bidenko was pretty much a straight up and down fighter with practically no versatility. Typical stand up euro fighter with average speed.

Boytsov showed a little something at least. However offensively he doesn't really put his punches together well and his left hook is terrible

just my 2 cents. Lets see him fight someone more versatile than Bidenko and then we can talk.

top15 sounds about right which in today's division doesn't say much but according to boxrec he is still young which is good news.

He's a good young talent, but I think Francesco Pianeta has more potential if he's trained right.
