Denis Boytsov vs Ray Mercer

i would say this is a big step up for boytsov, but ray is how old?

 

Boytsov looked very poor in his last fight against Hawkins, throwing no more than 20 punches a round, if that many. I hope he steps up the pace. Wlad blew Mercer out in a very impressive fight nearly ten years ago - Mercer is even older now and Boytsov should win easily, or at least win impressive.

 

I don't expect much anymore from Boytsov, but perhaps he can surprise me.

 

Oh Jesus, give it up Ray. It's just sad...pretty sure he desperately needs the cash too.

On the other hand, Boystov isn't invulnerable himself.

 

Boytsov doesn't really interest me.

He won't go far in my opinion.

I was hoping maybe somone better, but better than no opponent at all!

 

Being Boystov is so unproven Mercer isn't a bad match. If he has a future he'll blow Mercer out. If he doesn't than he might not be that good after all.

 

Mercer must go at least in the mid rounds.

 

Even at 47 Mercer will give Boystov some rounds. But for Boystov's sake they better be one-sided.

 

Maybe so.

Mercer shouldn't even win a rolund tbh.

BTW why is this guy still fighting??!
