    Cruiserweight Appreciation Thread
    Denis Lebedev is a 36 year old 5'11 Cruiserweight with a 27-2 20 KO's 1 KO loss. Born in Stary Oskal Soviet Union and now residing in Chekhov Russia. He's been a pro since 2001 and he is best known for 2 iconic matches the first is when he nearly killed Roy Jones Jr. in a horrific last 2 seconds of the last round KO. The other was him fighting for the majority of the match with one of the most repulsive eye injuries I've ever seen against Guillermo Jones and was still winning on points before it was stopped, Jones they found out was doping and was stripped of the title afterward. So his 2 greatest matches involved 2 guys named Jones. The other loss on his record was a controversial SD to Kap't Huck which in reality should have been a draw or close win for Denis. He's one of the best Cruiserweights in the division and is an underrated fighter who doesn't get near the credit he deserves. He's currently being trained by Freddie Roach, and has some of the best technique in the Cruiserweight division, he's a brilliant sharpshooter out of the southpaw position and seems to be aging like a fine wine and getting better with each and every match.
