Call Troy Ross, he'd fight Jones in Panama in a heartbeat. And he'll beat his ass too.

Damn! That's boxing for you.

Yeah, and then Senchenko got stopped on his home turf because of a closed eye. And he wasn't even getting hit with hurtful blows, he was fighting Malignaggi lol.

Thank you! That trainer is crazy.

Does he know we invented something called surgery?

official scores at the time of the stoppage: 96-94, 97-93, 96-94, all in favor of Lebedev

so it's kind of obvious why the fight wasn't stopped

Lebedev was the one landing the harder shots, but Jones punches clearly affected him more, wich made it difficult fight to score in some rounds.

I thought Jones was ahead at the end of the 10th, 6-4 in rounds. Closest I could see it would be even, but it'd be tough to sway two of the rounds I gave to Jones over to Lebedev. Lebedev won a couple early rounds and then a couple bounce back rounds middle-late, but he was getting busted up badly.

    Great fight.

Oh, and interesting to note. Jones was ripping him with body shots from the first round. The first Lebedev body shot I saw was in round 7.

Didn't know Tyzsu was in Lebedev's corner. He should have stopped it.

Those are very fair scores. Jones needed a couple of knockdowns or a KO to win- he just ate too many flush power shots to win a decision and Lebedev banked most of the middle rounds. He needed that Taylor-Chavez, Cotto-Margo I, or Taylor-Froch kind of late come from behind stoppage to pull out the win.
