Bakhtin keeps the left flowing, jabs and hooks in equal measure. Two of one and a pair of the other. Melendez is cowed to the ropes and tries to duck and dodge while bouncing back against them. Leaping 1-2 by Melendez misses and gets his head swatted with a few light slapping counters thrown as Bakhtin is leaning slightly out of the way to one side. Melendez camps out just a foot away from the corner and starts a hyperactive jittery dance, dipping to either side with his whole upper body including turtle shell burning a giant blur of a capital V in the air. Bakhtin keeps dominating. :dead

Round 10

Bakhtin jabs in rhythm, then pops a 1-2, then back to the jab. Melendez is creeping away and blocking no matter what Bakhtin throws. Melendez is completely defensive, leaning back against the ropes with his body exposed as he clings muffs to ears. Bakhtin is tired but still edging volume as he works high jabs backing up and some swoop-in uppers to the body before darting back out with what wind he has left. Melendez marches on with a wide, wobbly stance and tries to catch jabs on his right forearm before chopping it back Bakhtin's way. Bakhtin is maintaining distance and landing his jab through, over & under all of Melendez's. Right hand by Bakhtin. HUGE right hook can opener by Melendez, missed badly before the bell. Hail mary shot.

Lemme commiserate wit'cha, brother.

How about sitting through that crap and giving a detailed play by play of it (while stressing out about getting caught or having the boss come and assign some stuff to do...) and possibly NOT GETTING TO SEE THE MAIN EVENT!?!?! :cus
