Lebedev is applying more pressure now, targeting Flanagan's body and then bringing his punches up when the guard lowers. Lebedev hooking off the jab. Forearms crossing like sword hilts as they lean together with incidental punches-become-parries. Lebedev scoring up top with the straight lead left. Flanagan taking them well but with ever more cautious body language. Flurries of jabs from Flanagan, up on his toes and keeping his distance. Lebedev forks in a couple of right jabs on the mouth at the bell as Flanagan stands off and shells up.

Flanagan down early from a straight left on the body. Flanagan is pawing left jabs, pulling them, not wanting to engage up close. Lebedev is throwing right hook leads and shooting in with the left cross, using quick, predatory foot movement to cut the ring off and punch explosively in short bursts. Flanagan doing his best to survive, throwing a few jabs for show, but wanting no more of Lebedev until the bell (ie wisely harboring no illusions of turning this into a 10-9 frame).
