This card is basically Russians beating up Japanese journeymen.

Seriously. And it's not like we don't know how this next one is going to go too.

Hmm...don't suppose there are enough filler matches on this multidisciplinary card to pad this out for another 4.5-5 hours? I get off work at 3pm EST and want to catch Lebedev at the very least if not Manyuchi vs. phonetic disaster Uzbek dude.

Okamoto wins the first round of the MMA match with some nice takedowns. Really liked that single leg trip takedown he did.

Okomato wins the second two; landed the cleaner punches when standing and taking him down fairly regularly, too.

My goodness that beard looks like it would provide some cushion I'm surprised he isn't made to keep that shorter.

That was unusual, 2 dudes sword fighting on the ramp. Is that a new sport? I wonder how you score it.

Kendo's not exactly new; and I think competitive kendo is scored along the same lines as fencing.

Featherweight action! I hope those ninja's don't attack when the fighters come down the ramp :tmnt:

Unusual to see on a boxing show, however.

Do they usually do it on a narrow walkway or like on a wrestling mat.
