BANG, knock out of the night. Absolutely shocking knockout by Indongo. Beautiful. Very happy to see that, but in fairness that Russian almost got KO'd the last fight he had. KTFO.

Who isn't? That was absolutely surreal, one of the oddest things I've watched happen live in boxing.

It was a beautiful punch, it shows in boxing that if you set up the punch and time it perfectly it's lights out for your opponent. The way he measured the distance before throwing the hook was beautiful.

 

Good but short.

 

So, Chakhiev was the "home" guy in his fight earlier... as was Troya. Lebedev needs to cross his fingers and toes.

 

I think that's my choice for KOTY, based on just how unexpected it was. Indongo's got height, reach and obviously has more pop than his record indicates. I'll be happy to watch him fight again, to see what else he might bring to the table.
