Denis Lebedev vs. Roy Jones Jr. RBR

Round 1

Lebedev waves his right jab, not really quite throwing it. Jones throws a hard right to the body. Lebedev keeps waving his jab and looks to dig a left to the body. He lands it, twice. Jones is moving circuitously on the outside, throwing lead rights from the rear hip. Jones is shuffling to his right, holding his left out to intercept Lebedev's jabs. Jones is walked into the ropes and leaps off with a lead right, falling short as Lebedev steps aside. Lebedev flurries and hits gloves, and the Russians go wild. Roy steps forward into a lead right and catches Lebedev on the nose. Lebedev waves his right jab a couple of times up high and then digs a left to the body. Jones is walked into a corner and Lebedev pushes into him with his forearms, looking to line up a big left hand. Jones edges his way off and is laughing and hooting at Lebedev. Jones is a nut! He's cawing like a bird while he blocks jabs and then drops his hands to showboat a bit up on the ropes. Lebedev lands a good left at the bell.

Round 2

Lebedev paws with his right, and knocks Jones into the ropes with a left to the body. Smoger doesn't rule it a KD, as Roy was off balance. They touch gloves. Lebedev is fired up, now throwing actual jabs and some left uppercuts to the body. Jones hasn't gotten going this round. 1-2 from Jones is blocked. Jones stays outside and blocks shots with his right hand by his chin. Jones looks very relaxed, but too relaxed, not working. Lebedev smacks him with a glancing 1-2. stiff jab by Lebedev. Left uppercut to the body by Lebedev. Jones is keeping his hands low and trying to slip right jabs but getting his face brushed by them. Lebedev is putting some real force behind the jab now. Straight left to the body by Lebedev comes up short. Straight right to the body by Jones comes up short. They're trading long bombs with several feet in between them. Jones smacks Lebedev with a short right hand.
