Round 1

Liseev pushes into Galvan with his fists at his face, thumbs almost interwoven. Galvan blasts through the guard with some 1-2's on the back foot. Galvan getting in some quality leather, snapping Liseev's head back. Body shots by Liseev. Long incline jabs and roll-over rights from the hip by Liseev. Galvan is countering through it all with quick straight combos while sliding his feet back and circling right. Nice upper body movement by Galvan, making Liseev miss. They trade right hands to the face in a nice exchange before the bell.

10-9 Galvan

 

Liseev is almost living up to the Russian Gatti billing. He's eating counters to the face like candy.

 

Round 2

Galvan is popping flush straight rights into Liseev's face while trotting away from him. Galvan switches southpaw and pops the inverted form of his 1-2. Liseev keeps sweeping out with waist-level wide hooks coming forward, applying constant pressure. Liseev walks in with his hands down and Galvan drums against his chest with a combo and backs out with a parting shot to the face. Liseev is relentlessly marching forward, keeping pace with Galvan but not quite able to reach him with his sweepers around the side. Galvan bends low and Liseev pushes him to the canvas. The ref warns Liseev. Galvan circles left and blocks a few powerful lead rights, getting pushed a few steps by sheer force.

20-18 Galvan

 

Yeah, it's one of those "what do you like" affairs.

Heavy pressure and body shelling from Liseev, or jolting counters and blur combos by Galvan.

 

Round 3

WAR! Liseev hooks Galvan to the ropes, persistent, and eats a 1-2-3 as Galvan punches his way free. Huge right hands tossed across the gap by Liseev. Galvan backs away with his hands down, pushing his left glove up from his hip to parry and deflect. Galvan is keeping a wide distance. Lead left to the body by Galvan, momentarily switching southpaw. Liseev traps him on the ropes after spending some time strafing either way to cut the ring off, then bangs the body. Galvan is launching high slingshot right hands as he nears the ropes and then running past Liseev. An exchange is forced by Liseev stepping in and he eats a massive hook. Body hook by Liseev.
