Monrose is tiny compared to Drozd, and in much worse shape.

 

Round 1

Monrose is trying to dip and swoop with his knees bent, trying to slip Drozd's jab. Monrose is thrusting his own jab straight out at Drozd's knees. Pretty illegal, but it isn't bothering Drozd or the ref as it's a weak jab. Drozd keeps aiming for Monrose's head with double jabs and then closing the distance with hooks to the middle. Monrose holds, then claps his way out on the break. Monrose is a dirty little scuzz ball, isn't he? Drozd presses in behind his jab and Monrose flips a jab up into his nose. High right hand by Monrose while backing up, blocked as Drozd lowers his arm. Another clinch, and more fouling by Monrose. The ref warns him for pulling Drozd's neck down and rabbit punching. Drozd lands several jabs as Monrose is leaning over to his side.

Round 2

Drozd is sticking the jab as Monrose paws up at him with both arms acting as though on a pulley system. It's a ruse for Monrose to get inside and tie up, where he tries some roughness with his elbows. Drozd just wants a nice tidy boxing match behind his 1-2, and Monrose is eager to ruin that. Hard 1-2 by Drozd, and Monrose collapses into him to hold after taking it. Monrose leans in through a combo and hooks the body, headbutting Drozd by accident as he suddenly swings his body the other way to get out. The ref warns him. This ref doesn't like JMM at all. Drozd lands a 1-2 and braces as Monrose rams his arms out to hold again. Drozd drops his left shoulder to use as a shield, pushing it out into Monrose. Drozd lines up a 1-2 but Monrose ducks under it and whips a right to the body. Drozd precipitates a few jabs to the head as Monrose ducks.

Round 3

Monrose is rolling around above the waist as Drozd begins to increase his firepower standing in front of him. Left hook to the body by Drozd, and Monrose is dropped in agony. He's reacting as though it strayed below the belt - looked to be borderline. Drozd keeps jabbing Monrose in the top of the head as the Frenchman ducks and tackles in low. Jabs on the outside by Drozd. Frequent rushes and slicing rights to the body by Monrose. Very messy.
