Denis Lebedev vs. Tony Bellew

Loads seem to hate on him.

Met him quite a few times, lovely lad, time for everyone and very humble unlike some boxers Ive met.

 

Good one. Big fan of Lebedev going to have to pick him but the Brits are hot.

 

He is a proper nice lad, he has said he has been a divy at times himself, but mainly due to making weight at LHW, starving and dropping so much weight.

Seen him with a disabled kid outside Goodison this season, an he was just unreal with him, made the kids day, then obviously a big crowd him got round him, he stayed an signed all autographs an had photos.

He said to people who complimented him, I'm no different to you :good

Seriously I dunno how this fight will play out. It's just that Bellew's been looking good since he moved up. Cleverly and Masternak are 2 very solid wins. If he can stay on his feet vs Lebedev and win 3-4 rounds, anything can happen on the cards in Liverpool. Although I wouldn't bet on Bellew.

 

Well I just think you dont like Bellew to be honest.

I have a feeling the Bellew votes are going to be coming from a certain island in the Northern Atlantic

 

Clev didnt want to fight, he wanted nothing to do with that fight when he felt Bellews punch at CW, he just went into survival mode and defended, plus first fight could have gone either way.
As said early re Maternak, long time out of ring, tough fight and ill the week of fight

 

Agreed he aint the best boxer, but will fight anyone, an does have a good punch, dont rule him out

 

He also just has that kind of face that you want to punch....... His personality certainly doesn't help that very much either.
