Shakhnazaryan is using stutter-steps to fake Troya out and then zapping him with lead rights and left hooks flying at him, catching him with his pants down. Shakhnazaryan is lulling Troya, circling on the outside and then suddenly leaping at him with midair head shots.

Round 4

Shakhnazaryan is shimming and moving left, shoulders dropping in by turn, darting forward and jabbing high. Troya is throwing hard 1-2s into the guard but telegraphing his intentions, allowing Shakhnazaryan to hop backward and proceed to cut a side door exit and come right back at him with pesky left hooks by the ear. Shakhnazaryan is charging in, making Troya sidestep or retreat from his sorties as Shakhnazaryan happily throws away right hands to gain tactical advantage.

Shakhnazaryan was an undefeated prospect himself until just a couple of months ago, losing a decision in the US to Abner Lopez, a decent Mexican under the Zanfer & Top Rank banner.

 

Round 5

Shakhnazaryan is plugging jabs into the torso of Troya, making him lower his elbows, and then swatting at his eyes with both hands as they are revealed. Troya is finding it hard to generate offense on the backfoot and blinded by Shakhnazaryan's staccato blur of activity. Shakhnazaryan is jabbing in until Troya puts out his right forearm horizontally like a shield to bump him away. Shakhnazaryan now leaps in with right hands, gleefully missing them as he forces Troya to back up in predictable straight lines which Shakhnazaryan can exploit by ducking to one side and coming up with light but point-scoring shots.

Shakhnazaryan is jabbing the body and poking Troya with lunging rights on the navel as Troya skips off. Troya is lining up his 1-2 and catching Shakhnazaryan with it during his rare moments of respite in between cavalry charges. Shakhnazaryan has a bloody nose. Shakhnazaryan is still pressing the action with stop-and-go flurries and landing uppercuts now as he winds his way in close and lands sneakily under Troya's gloves.
