He had a fight this morning in Thailand but there are no results posted. Does anybody know if it was canceled, or if not what happened? Picture and/or video would be especially appreciated. :good
"Former WBA world champion Denkaosan Kaovichit boxed extremely poorly on the way to outpointing Indonesian journeyman Anis Ceunfin in Phitsanulok yesterday. The 32-year-old from Samui retained his PABA flyweight title after 12 tedious rounds with a 118-110, 118-11 and 116-112 decision. Denkaosan controlled the fight from the start but failed to send Ceunfin into the canvas even though the poor challenger did not pose him any danger. Ceunfin also stood still in the corner and dared Denkaosan to hit him, but the Thai missed repeatedly. Ceunfin also embarrassed the Thai by sticking his tongue out, winding up punches and laughing whenever Denkaosan did connect. "It was the worst I have ever seen Denkaosan box," said his manager Niwat Laosuwanwat, adding that if the former champion wanted to have a title shot again, he would need to improve his game a lot. "With such a poor performance, no one wants to support him." Denkaosan's next fight was scheduled for August in Satun. However, Niwat said he would talk to his boxer and might need to cancel it. Ranked third in the 112-pound division, Denkaosan (49-2-1, 20KOs) is hoping to take on the winner between champion Daiki Kameda and Takefumi Sakata who will fight in September."
I had very high hopes for him in terms of match-making when he came to the title...but I fear that it's time for him to pack it in.
