:thinkI may have voted too swfty in Wilder, mostly because I had forgotten that once upon a time, Boystov had beaten 3 consecutive C class fighters. Whereas, Wilder has yet to step to that level......or has he?:think:thinkAlexander and Reed are on par with Bydenko and Gavern, so their best wins are similar, but I think the edge goes to Boystov for his win over Moaddalone, and Hawkins. But again, Boystov has been at this for a much longer time, and took until about his 15-20th fights to gradually step it up. Similar as Wilder. That said, I stand by my prediction, and it's a fight that could happen. Especially if Wilder can blast Maddalone outta there this year and outdo Boystov. My pick.....ugly, but action packed fight. Boystov bloodied and KDd from a shattered schnoz in the first round, but up to survive. Wilder controlling rds 2/3, then down himself in the 4th, before ending Boystov by TKO in a barrage of unanswered shots.:good
Boytsov shatters his glass hands on Deontay's glass chin, KOing him. Then Boytsov retires due to his injuries :yep
Boytsov has skill. Just stuck with universum... Wilder looks like a protected and over Hyped fighter. Knocks out a few bums and that makes him the next star Boystov TKO.
At this point on their careers I'd say Boystov. But things can change after some time as Wilder progress and steps up to competition.
Boytsov used to be hyped. He also used to be a Soviet....'Til he was 6. Boytsov wins tho. Shame about his career.
It's hard to believe, but looks like there's a chance Denis Boytsov may be fighting Wilder on Showtime July 13. Wilder says he's fighting a Russian heavyweight: ***.boxingnews.com.ua/ru/novosti/5537-deontej-uajlder-obeschaet-boj-s-ochen-silnym-bokserom-iz-rossii Besides Povetkin, there are only two ranked Russian heavyweights: Boytsov and Abdusalamov. Wilder may have his countries confused and actually mean someone from Belarus (Lyakhovich or Ustinov) or from Ukraine (Glazkov).
