McCann boxing beautifully behind the jab in this round.

 

Man I wish a guy like Ionut had an upset world title win or a European title to show for his career because he simply has too few trinkets to complement his legacy.

 

If McCann times it well enough he can counter Baluta when he's off balance, which he has been a lot so far.

 

You might be right, but if he comes through this you'd hope some reflection and refinement might occur.

Couldn't believe the pre-fight odds for this, was always a pretty 50 50 fight in my eyes.

 

British prospect finally has someone throwing back ten fights in who isn't afraid of him and starts struggling

 

McCann passes a few tests so far but very close and dangerous fight.

 

Love watching Balta's fights.

Honestly only elite boxers don't look like they're struggling against Baluta. The man never stops swinging.

Baluta is telegraphing a lot of shots which McCann evades easily. Baluta is still throwing a lot more and the more aggressive fighter on the front fight. McCann is only countering with single shots and not throwing much else. Because Baluta missed with a lot I give the round to McCann.
