Dennis "Pawnee Express" / "Tenacious Warrior" Knifechief

Stumbled upon this guy and found him intriguing.

He is a lanky Native American southpaw brawler - incorrectly listed on BoxRec as "orthodox". He campaigned between junior middle and super middle from 2012 until 2021. He finished up just shy of the .500 mark at 12-13-1, taking seven wins by way of KO. Nearly all of his losses were against undefeated (or single-defeat) prospects.

His teens were troubled... fatherless, laden with booze & drugs, and marked by violent crime including physical altercations with law enforcement. He turned it around by discovering the sport and funneling his dark energies into that. He rose no higher than Okie state champ at 154lbs (upsetting Maurice "The Bounty Hunter" Williams, only to have that later avenged twice with Williams winning their trilogy) but he resolved to help others in his community learn the ropes to show them a better path.

Somewhat of a rarity for a journeyman with a losing record, he is the subject of not one but two documentaries. One is titled "KNIFECHIEF" and focuses on his tumultuous early life and pro career, and the other is titled "Pâriki Boxing" and explores his coaching of indigenous youth at his boxing gym in Oklahoma.
