Round 1

Vassell is trying to bully in, hard jabs and right hands. Ushona works his way around the ring, throwing counter uppercuts. Very noisy but insubstantial flurries by Ushona of fthe backfoot. Vassell catches him at the very tip end of some big shots while chasing. Wild hook from Vassell charging in. Clinch up. Vassell pressures. Ushona retreats and counters, but leaves himself open a bit too long and eats a BIG right hand. Clinch up. Vassell in no hurry to finish him just yet. Slapping 1-2 for Ushona.

10-9 Vassell

 

Round 2

Vassell takes the lead with his jab and gets Ushona drifting to the ropes. Ushona is just pushing his left glove out to try and face-slap Vassell away. Ushona clinching a lot. Ugly. Very negative from Ushona. Vassell starts banging away with hooks. Good stuff. Ushona sprints away. Vassell lives up to his "Tyson" nick with some vintage head movement as he comes in and tries to find a spot to smash Ushona. Vassell comes forward, rather intelligently. Clinching galore. Mostly Ushona's fault, although Vassell isn't neutralizing it by moving laterally or pushing off (probably just doesn't know how, seems he only trains to go forward). Ushona backhands with a soft jab and then spins his right hand around before whizzing it out as an uppercut. Vassell keeps coming. Jab from Vassell as Ushona retreats. Ushona keeps throwing his slappy sling-shot 1-2 from outside, and catches Vassell with a right but doesn't make him blink.
