    Round 6

Vassell grinds his way in and gets snared. He throws a low blow. They split. Vassell is landing some really good body punches. Ushona isn't getting away as well anymore. Vassell landing with both hands downstairs up close. Ushona gets back in rhythm, flopping about over the waist, and backin away but getting caught with the body punches as Vassell is keeping pace. DV is taking what Ushona gives him, mostly holding and hitting.

    58-56 DV

Gotta give that to Ushona again, he's just doing the better work at the moment. Vassell isn't putting pressure on properly.

    58-56 Ushona

Very close round. Both had their moments, I'll give it to both of them that round. 10-10 round.

    Round 7

Ushona is backed into a corner and Vassell gets his hands going before Ushona ties up and gets back to open water. Ushona is still using his bag of tricks as he makes his circuit around the ring, taking a lot on the shoulders but not hitting back. Vassell chases him around and gets a left hook to the body.

    Vassell 68-65

Bit better by Vassel, goes to the body a few times with success. Vassell's corner tell him he's being outworked.

Vassell round but it was close.

    67-66 Ushona

Ushona round...close round though. Ushona boxes well, slipping...I've got it 5-1-1 Ushona.

Looks like Ushona is getting a bit tired. Vassell is getting closer and closer, better work from him. Ushona lands a nice counter at the end. This is gonna be a interesting last few round, I got it even.

    Round 8

Vassell comes forward and pushes out jabs and right hands but is getting countered with several quick shots at a time coming in, even when Ushona is leaning back against the ropes. Ushona landing weak shots, but plentiful. Scoring.

    Ushona round.

Yeah he's just not mixing it up enough, not trying to work any angles or force Ushona into anything. He's making it harder for himself.

Ushona round yet again. He is showing a bit of wear though. Body work seems to be taking its tole on him.

Like the commentators saying though he's still got the time to learn. Needs to learn to use what he's got to open up an opponent and break them down because his style demands that approach.

    Round 9

Vassell with a good left hook to the body, shoehorning his way in. Vassell is pushing him all around the ring. They're sweating all over each other, spending lots of energy without many punches being thrown (and very few landing). Vassell is the only one getting clean connections in, to the body. Vassell slips. Vassell carries Ushona to the corner and nails him down low. Wrestling. Body punching from Vassell. Ushona hits on the break. Ushona tries an uppercut but Vassell walks through it and pins himself atop him.
