Denton Vassell vs. Samuel Colomban & Matty Askin vs. Roman Kracik RBR

Round 1

Askin shuffles forward in crab-steps, his body turned over to his right and his arms floating to catch Kracik's jabs. The solidly-built barrel-chested Czech circles wide to his left, trying to drop a jab to the body as he gets Askin turning. Counter rights from Askin snipe at the mobile veteran. Soft jabs from Askin, before a sudden hard right hand that has Kracik retreating back to the ropes. For his bulk and age Kracik is fairly agile and elusive. Wild overhand right by Kracik, and Askin jumps back out of the way before darting back in with a quick flurry. Jabs by Askin. Left hook/right hand by Askin - blocked. Kracik is standing pat with a high guard and his head ducked down behind his wrists. Askin tees off and plays patty-cake with his gloves.

Round 2

Askin holds out his jab, measuring as Kracik navigates around on the outside with slow and steady lateral steps. Askin pops in with a quick 1-2 and then slides out. Chopping attack by Kracik jumping in falls short. Kracik lifts his beefy arm up above shoulder height and snaps out a couple of jabs while circling, but they're too slow and fall too short. Askin is just taking everything as it comes, not really pressuring Kracik but rotating on his toes to keep squared up with him and throwing just enough jabs and straight rights to keep scoring. Kracik suddenly rushes in and feints with a right before landing a thudding wide left hook to the side of the head as he rushes Askin into the ropes. His only good shot so far.

20-18 Askin

 

Round 3

Askin jabs into the Czech's gloves. Good right cross gets through them and bounces off Kracik's forehead. Kracik is starting to come forward now, guard up and pawing with body jabs while leaning forward and down. Askin greets him with a solid straight right hand through the middle. Kracik tries to ram his way in with his big left arm held up and turned aside as he hops toward Askin, but is backed out in a hurry by another right hand. Kracik is circling closer and lands a jab. Askin uses his faster feet and hands to keep always in superior position and always winning the jab battle. Out of nowhere Askin sprinkles a rising left hook into his attack. Kracik is hurt!! CHASED BACK INTO THE CORNER!! HIT WITH JABS AND RIGHTS! STOPPED! (waved off!)

Kracik is now kneeling in the corner holding the back of his head. He may have taken some rabbit punches in the finishing flurry there.

 

The Assassin is now 12-0 (8 KOs...66%)

 

Whose? Matty's O-face or Roman's "****, I've got a headache..."

 

OH MY GOD, BECKY, LOOK AT HER BUTT!!!
