Both tall, rangy boxers with a good punch and bad chin. I think I'll pick Fulton, he has more names on his resume, and he put away some tough fighters. I think he had the better chin and the better punch.

Fulton his a lot harder, and likely took the better punch. Martin was quicker and more defensive. I'd go with Fulton.

    Hmmmmmm

I get the idea that Martin was the more mobile of the two but that Fulton probably hit harder.

I think if Martin had been around today he would have had an outstanding amateur career and would probably have done better as a profesional than he did in his own era when his tag and run style was not apreciated.

    Hard to say.

One of those flying blind fights, but Fulton rose higher and stayed longer near the top of the heavyweight division and I think was a slightly better fighter. Both had weak jaws, but Fulton had a better punch,

    so I pick Fulton.

Really? I'll check boxrec when I have time. Fulton, after all, beat Langford. I do remember that Martin beat McVey, Childs, and Armstrong.
