Round 1 Cuello is hammering Amisa with right hooks up top and can-opener lefts on the chest & hip. Amisa reacting badly to everything, scrambling in reverse, his legs almost splattered like so much ichor as Cuello smashes him like a rolled-up newspaper upon a spider. Amisa down from accumulation. He beats the count, overmatched but scrappy. Amisa flurrying desperately as Cuello unloads more big powerful hooking blows at various altitudes. Very high percentage connecting for Cuello, all of it hurting Amisa very badly even as he moves evasively, although he manages to not go down again. 10-8 Cuello
Round 2 Cuello is right-hooking the ulna of Amisa, causing his left arm to jerk upwards awkwardly out of defensive position, leaving a gap for Cuello to drill him in the chest or lower mandible with a short curveball left. Amisa gets pummeled into a corner, where Cuello skewers him against the padded turnbuckle with a series of body shots. One right hook goes low and causes Amisa to slump against the padding, one left bent and the other knee down on the canvas, hands by his sides, defenseless, appealing for help from the ref even as Cuello obliges in sporting fashion by stepping backward. Amisa given some recovery time, until the ref decides it has been long enough. Cuello ripping hard body combos, ultra fast uppercuts delivered half a dozen at once, peppering Amisa while he lays on the ropes, attempting to spring off them with a high boomeranging right hand to extricate himself, to no avail. Cuello is keeping him trapped with precise and powerful shots, now tossing a left hand lead between Amisa's eyes. BIG right hook on the solar plexus catches Amisa sliding laterally along the ropes, and he trots out to center ring before dropping into tripod position, both knees and one glove on the canvas, sucking wind, gasping as the ref walks over to inspect and determines he won't be getting up. KO2!!
There were a bunch of matches on this card (including bouts featuring some Pinoy fan-faves like Sonny Boy Jaro, Ardin Diale, KJ Natuplag, and Edison Berwela), all of which can be found on the GAB's page on FaceBookWatch. This is just the one in which I had the most vested interest.
I don't even know what the main event here technically was. Cuello vs. Amisa was like fourth-to-last, and Diale vs. Rosales was after it despite being an 8-rounder (and Cuello being a far bigger domestic star than both Diale & Rosales combined)
