Well, I don't know... They (he and his promoter) have been saying a lot about their big plans. Including a lot of contradicting stuff—for example Berinchyk once claimed that he would be going down to SF, but just several weeks later his promoter (Alex Krassyuk, K2 Ukraine) claimed that they decided to stay at the lightweight and move towards a fight with the champion, whoever it is at that time (Loma or not).

In general, rumor has it, that at the start of his professional career Berinchyk was very motivated and dedicated, he trained in the same gym as Usyk (they even got the same trainer back then). But then suddenly Denys changed... Two or three times he was offered opponents to fight that year, but Berinchyk didn't. Then he got married. And then he suddenly became enthusiastic again (allegedly because you need money to support a wife and a kid)...

 

Denys predictably won his bareknuckle fight.

Wonder what his future plans might be.

 

What ever happened to this guy? Seems awful strange on his social media account

 

He battered Artem Lobov in BKB on saturday. No clue why that fight happened, Berinchyk is a legitimately good boxer

 

Must be finding it hard to get good fights in regular boxing.
