Rooting for Berinchyk to pull it off but my head says that Davis will probably win this based on his athletic talents.

Berinchyk is a very live dog imo. Awkward dude that needs to use that to his advantage. I'm looking forward to this one but will likely have to watch the recording in the morning or face the wrath of the wife. It should be illegal to have boxing on Valentines day. What a BS holiday.

Hoping to see Zayas and Mielnicki continue to make improvements and maybe put them on a prospect collision course

From what I have seen so far I don't think Vito is the goods and Xander appears to be though it would be nice to have a local boxer to back besides Shakur

Even though I picked Berinchyk to beat the blown up doughy Navarrete, and thought he did clearly. I've got to admit, I was utterly flabbergasted that he got the decision. It was clearly a case of Top Rank sending an angry "no more gifts for you" and stop embarrassing us message to Vaquero to get his **** together. But Davis hasn't had a handful of controversial decisions go his way yet, so all of Berinchyk's good work will be ignored by the judges, and quite frankly, the massive Davis who should be fighting at light welterweight probably won't even need them. He's most likely going to manhandle and stop Denis, and if he doesn't, we see what happens to unpleasant to watch foreign feather fisted spoilers most of the time when fighting in the US. They never get the benefit of the doubt. So no matter what, this is a pretty unwinnable fight for Berinchyk.

Awkward is definitely a good description of his style especially in the Navarette fight. I'd like to see Davis get an impressive stoppage win but I think we may get an ugly fight

i remember the concieao (sp) fight being controversial, did Navarette have any other fights that were poor decisions?

Berinchyk vs. Davis is an elite main event.

Xander Yarob Zayas Castro and Vjaceslav Spomer will have to convince me they belong in the co-main slot of a world championship program. :osvaisacagar:

Rare to see all four principals bring in unbeaten records, though.

I thought Ruben Villa and Joet Gonzalez did just enough to edge their matches with him.

Juanmita's opponent is 1-1-1, but the loss and draw were both split decisions. And the win was an MD.

So he could either be a dark horse and actually pretty good - or completely suck.

Thoroughly unconvinced by Zayas, and the one upset tonight that might occur that everyone is sleeping on, is in that match. Spomer is no joke, he's got a great chin, cuts the ring off incredibly well, knows how to gauge the proper distance, he's rangy with long arms and doesn't overcommit, has a decent punch selection, and is fairly heavy handed in spite of his average KO ratio.

Lopez isn’t debuting against someone they actually think can challenge him.
