Yes, I think they should just bring back same day weigh ins and maybe monitor fighter's weights throughout the year to ensure they're fighting at their natural weight.

As said, that fight last night wasn't won on skill or boxing ability is was 100% won on the huge size disparity. DB who even though I'm a huge fan of Usyk, Loma and Gvozdyk who, like DB fought on that great Ukrainian amateur team, I've never really been a fan of or rated highly, looked absolutely tiny in comparison to Keyshawn and there was a stark difference between them in terms of physical strength and power and it was all due to Keshawn being so much naturally bigger than him.


When Keyshawn was hitting DB anywhere on his body he was visibly moving him but, conversely, when DB was hitting him, when he could actually get past his long reach that is, his shots looked like frozen peas bouncing off the surface of the moon. I know DB lacks power anyway but it was even more accentuated due to the huge size disparity. It was a complete size mismatch so much so that it was just not a remotely fair fight.

 

Yeah, the size disparity between 126-130 sized fighters and many of these giants at 135 of today (or former 135 pounders of today), who have big/huge frames and are natural welterweights at worst, is so glaring.
