I doubt he can pull the upset, but War Torres anyway!!!!

Something very despicable about Polanco.

 

Round 1 Polanco 10-8

Polanco battering him with heavy jabs, then lands a sharp lunging straight right, Torres goes down like a sack of potatoes. Torres makes it back up, Polanco backs him to the ropes, and is unloading, Torres shelling up, blocking some of these, but Rohan is getting through plenty. Torres lunges in, lands a left hook around his guard.

Polanco jabbing again, Torres gets in close, Polanco lands a cuffing hook to the temple, Torres goes down again. He seems okay. Torres pressing forward, loopin in hooks to the body. Polanco lands a clean one two, Torres looks like he's shitfaced, and sways back and forth, Polanco lands another shot and the ref intelligently waves it.

 

If Mason can get Manuel Jaimes out of there early, that's going to be fairly impressive, since Rolando Romero went the distance with him last year, and Jaimes has never been stopped.

 

Abdullah Mason vs. Manuel Jaimes 8 Rounds @ Lightweight

 

Round 1 Mason 10-9

Jaimes coming forward, Mason hopping around on the periphery, a little more cautious than usual. Mason probing with the jab and a snappy right hook. Wide southpaw stance proving to be difficult to close range on for Manuel without walking into counters. He's bum rushing him now, with his high guard up. Not having much success. Nasty one two before the bell stuns Manuel.
