Wilder is a small lanky heavyweight and hits harder than nearly every 250+ super heavyweight before him. Once you are 210+ any extra weight doesn't increase your punching power very much if at all

I disagree, you will get cases of non SHW punchers like Wilder, Bert Cooper, Mike Tyson, Haye, Shavers etc because everybody is built different. but most of the big punchers nowadays are the bigger men, 230lb+ guys. I doubt Frazier, Lyle, Ali, Young, Quarry, Norton or most heavyweights back then hit as hard as even Anthony Joshua, Foreman likely does and i think he does but Foreman himself was a big guy for his era. He was what ? 220-225lb ? Povetkin punches hard as hell and he isn't a SHW as well but he's like 225-230 so he'd be a big heavyweight in the 70s.

On average 240 pound guys quite a bit hit harder than 210 pound guys although you will get multiple exceptions because there is no golden rule obviously.

Shavers fought much better opposition than Wilder has, but its a bit difficult to compare the two given Wilder has fought larger HWs than Shavers on average. I lean towards Shavers but Wilders career is ongoing and that could chsnge things.

Wilder is great at knocking out glass jawed tomato cans and other fragile mandibled mediocrities in a weak HW field.

Shavers, on the other, KOd live bodies in the greatest era in HW history.

The math on this one is easy!

Furthermore, cruiser Shavers was outweighed by only 30% of his opponents while Wilder was outweighed by 84% of his. Historically almost all big punchers were "weight bullies", Wilder is the most extreme exception.
