I’m assuming the AJ fight is pencilled in for summer so I’ve left him out. I’d like to see him in with a Whyte, Breazeale, Takam. Basically anyone AJ has been in with so we can get a sort of measure of the two and where they’re both at.
Tonight's fight was an absolute disgrace. I can't wait till Wilder fights someone with a pulse. Whyte ends this Windmilling hype train with body shots and a left hook.
Whyte for me. But that isn't necessarily the best style of opponent for him to prepare for AJ. He needs to balance it up though. He gets/deserves a bigger cut vs AJ should he fight Whyte....but i don't necessarily think it's great for his preparation for AJ. I think Povetkin would be the best preparation possible, but it's an extremely dangerous fight and one i would have him down as losing. Honestly, the best thing he could do would probably travel over and visit the Klit brothers. I only see one way which Wilder can beat AJ....and that's with a wild right swing. I could see AJ winning through multiple routes, on points, or KO via left/right hook, left/right uppercut etc etc.
Whyte just to watch the demolition job Wilder puts on him. But, Wilder should demand the fight in the U.S., since the only people Wilder should be traveling for are Joshua and Parker.
His next fight will be Breazeale and he doesnt fight AJ next year because he is pricing himself out of the fight, whilst not making any better offers himself.
Wilder will fight Breazeale who is a fellow Haymon fighter, can't fight at all, should not be ranked in the top 20, must less top 10 and mandatory..............
Stiverne 3, Stiverne didn't get to throw a punch that fight but if he had it woulda been lights out. Warrants a rematch.
He should fight Whyte in the UK. Increase his profile over here and build the AJ fight. Whyte is the WBC Silver champ and is a credible challenger and a live opponent. But I suspect he will defend against Breazeale.
Fight Whyte in Feb and Joshua should fight Parker and the winners fight for all the belts in the summer.
