Talking and actually doing it are two different things.. Fury was calling out Wlad and got himself into the position to fight.. Big fights can be made if people actually try and want to make them.. How long has Wilder talked about unifying the belts?? What has he done about it?? Youtube vids aside not alot really and you wonder why most of us don't take him seriously. After 2 years as a champ how has he improved his profile so he can get these big fights?? He talks more **** that Fury these day but casuals wouldn't have a clue who he is tbh.. He may be the best heavyweight since Ali but how would we know in nearly 40 fights he has only fought one (USA) top 10 opponent....
Both Joshua and Deontay are great champions as is Fury (wouldnt toss him just yet) and Parker is young and talented we cant forget Ortiz either. We are in good hands. The Deontay haters are still so out of touch that they dont realize Deontay is a victory over Joshua away from ATG status. Deontay is the MOST avoided fighter in boxing history now that Canelo has signed to fight GGG.
Wait till Deontay's so called skinny legs start looking like the stronger pair when him Joshua unite. If you think that Deontay cant hit and hurt Joshua enough to weaken his legs then you are the one that is out of touch.
That may be true but it has nothing to do with everyone supposedly avoiding Wilder.. Wilder isn't avoided but he doesn't bring anything to the table, not big in the USA not real popular anywhere else. There is a reason why AJ called out Fury not Wilder and it has nothing to do with who he think will be easier to beat (they all really think they are the best in the world) its the $$$ and until Wilder works on making himself more popular he won't be getting any big fights anytime soon...
Everybody forgets the great Povetkin who is still very much relevant. Deontay traveled all the way to Russia representing his country and scared the Russian away yet all you seem to look the other way? Malik Scott Bermane Stirverne Alexander Povetkin are all good wins plus Szpilka Molina Duhaupaus Arreola are all solid wins. Keep underestimating Deontay.
The Szpilka win is very under rated. Szpilka's only loss was to Jennings in a fight he had to travel cross country twice right before the fight. Jennings fought Wlad to the bell and also fought Ortiz and Perez so he has been tested. Ronnie Shields did a good job with Szpilka he was moving very well and coming at Deontay from angles. If my memory serves me well it was an exciting evening at a SOLD OUT Barclay's Center but continue with your nonsense that nobody cares about Wilder. Come on man he's got 37 kos in 38 fights and they are still trying to correctly reattach Szpilkas head. Yo keep underestimating Deontay
Let get real on the Povekin saga. Why the WBC postponed the fight was because Wilder had already left soon as he found out. The WBC had no choice but to come out with what they did. What they should have done was either told Wilder to get his ass back to Russia or stripped him. It turned out to be a storm in a tea cup which if Wilder didn't run with out getting any facts the fight still would (and should) have happened.. Scott has done nothing, beat old Tony Thompson to get his rating otherwise he has ran. Stiverne who beat another sub par fighter Arreola as his claim to fame.. When he fights a elite heavyweight and wins then he will get the credit he deserves. The nut huggers seem to buy into all this youtube vid talk but actions speak louder..
Wilder has to fight Fury or Joshua next. Anyone else is unacceptable. He's had a pass for way too long.
He hasnt beaten Povetkin lol. The Malik dive was the diviest dive of all time. The others aren't solid wins. Especially when we all saw how a proper champion dealt with Molina.
Wilder left because fight was cancelled. Povetkin was not competing in a WBC title bout after coming up dirty.. Its that simple. Lol@ you telling the WBC what they should and should not do. These clowns get stupider by the week
