Is this the second time Wilder has been in discussions to become 'Undisputed'?

(After the first Stiverne fight and becoming WBC champ).

“Look, (Wilder) is a baby winning the title. It was his first title fight, they'll be a time for unification, they'll be a time for all those things, he could go and Povetkin (the No. 2 contender) in Russia and make $10 million,” Finkel said to the Tuscaloosa News. “It's not the right thing yet. Give him a couple of fights, maybe bring something back to Alabama. Let him develop just like any other athlete. They don't take someone who is a great college prospect and throw him right in. And this kid is a great prospect.”
    -Finkel

Given that Vitali held a belt, becoming Undisputed was impossible for Wlad.....
And it appears the best chance he had, Wilder never took the opportunity.

    Hypocrisy 1.....

    "Still a prospect"......

Just because you have poor boxing fundamentals, does not make you a 'prospect'....You've had 33 fights, Povetkin fought Wlad in his 27th. Fury about the same and Joshua even less.

    Hypocrisy 2.....

"They don't take someone who is a great college prospect and throw him right in."

You've just made him fight for the most prestigious belt in the sport!

    Hypocrisy 3.....

"He could go and fight Povetkin"

Wasn't he a 'prospect', who you just don't 'throw right in'...now you want him to fight the second best in the division?

See it's really hard to believe you when you've already refused a undisputed HW title fight.

Deontay 'The golden duck' Wilder. Glad more people are waking up to this facade. Will he fight Fury next? Kings vs kings? Dont hold your breath. Reality is Wilder is the guy with the best punchers chance, thats it. And a part from a 38-44 year old medically unfit Ortiz, he hasnt dared to share the ring with any legitimate contender, his duck list is ever expanding.
