I'm aware it's not exactly good money in HW boxing champ terms but he's not going to go into debt anytime soon is he

i agree, but i think everyone has missed the point of Wilder/Whyte. it isnt anything to do with boosting the AJ/Wilder fight, it isnt a supposed "eliminator" to fight Joshua, it is just a promoter trying to get his fighter a world title shot. it just so happens that Wilder "wants" to fight AJ and people think Hearn is saying "fight Whyte, you get Joshua"
