Deontay is a hype job bum

This is straight up hating - like bad. Dont understand why people who claim to watch, like, or love boxing can bad mouth the sports professional boxers to this degree. We all have our favorites and some of us dont like certain styles but to just have diarrhea of the mouth over someone like that is just distasteful.
Some of your points are valid - Ok Wilder has been KD'd by 2 non rated heavier boxers (who are pro mind you).
Louis Ortiz was the 3-5th best heavy weights in the division - what more do you want? You believe his age is shady because someone told you? and you believe that? Ouch, OK then.

Its all smoke and mirrors, Wilder beat a man that takes heart pills, but probably couldnt now because it violates VADA drug testing protocol. So in reality Wilder beat a man that was on the verge of having a stroke.

I don't want the bronze bomber risking his life for ungrateful toe rags. Grandpa Ortiz was as dangerous as they come. I seriously hope the bomb squad haven't shown the Wbc champ this thread. It would break Deontay's heart.

 

Look, I still don't think he's THAT good. But in the context of the current HW scene, he's confirmed himself as legit. He's won every fight - bar a near shutout - by a KO. Ortiz was the boogeyman who no one wanted to fight. Then Wilder signs to fight him and suddenly he's 65 years old (with no actual proof) and growing a decade by the day.

He's tons of fun and no matter what you say he has serious power.

 

Honesty anyone who claims to love boxing surely can not actually like Wilder.

What he does is not boxing.

It may be effective but it isn't "the sweet science".

 

Ortiz definitely didn't look 50 years old as claimed. 39 is not unrealistic considering that heavy built people look older than they really are. Fury looks 20 years older than he actually is.

 

A bit of a hype job yeah. Like Lacy but to a lesser degree. Has power but lacking skill. Unlike Lacy he has speed and reach which makes him more dangerous. However he has a weaker chin which makes him more vulnerable in a way.

 

Following on from the Ortiz fight it is objectively unfair to label Wilder as a bum.

He laid a top 5 HW to waste. Proved his power was elite in the process. Proved also that however crude he is that he has a boxing brain and athleticism that makes him a threat to anyone.

AJ only fears 4 guys- Wilder, Tyson Fury, Murat Gassiev And Usyk.
They are the 4 coming for him.

 

I'm done questioning Wilder, I'm not a fan (probably
will never be), but he proved literally in his fights
against Szpilka, Duhaupas, Washington and especially
Ortiz that he can make an abundance of mistakes, get
beat on, outboxed thoroughly, outjabbed but his speed, power
and will to win can dig him out of damn near any hole.

If at any point in time he was a hype job (and he was),
that time has now past, he's a legit threat to everyone
at HW.
