    Wilder is stepping out wide to give Ortiz space, and the right jab comes shooting up toward him, climbing from Ortiz's right shoulder. Wilder is pushing out the left jab, going through motions with it, no snap, just reassuring himself about the whereabouts of that Ortiz right arm, pressing in lightly with his jab to just feel it and keep it held in check. Ortiz suddenly explodes and Wilder is clipped with a left cross and covers up, pivoting away quickly, betraying that he was hurt ...but there isn't much room for Ortiz to get in any follow-ups. They swap jabs cautiously at mid-range.
