Considering that my post included only statements of opinion and no assertions of fact, this is an interesting response.

To be fair, Jennings lost to Wladimir. And Jennings outperformed a lot of peoples expectations. I think a lot more stock should be put into that performance than the fact that he lost. (as proven every week, being undefeated doesn’t mean **** at all)
This is why the win over Jennings gave Ortiz a lot of hype. Jennings had just given the Heavyweight champ a good fight and Ortiz absolutely destroyed the former title challenger.

I have so little interest in this rematch, I don't even feel like putting in the effort to make a prediction.

Considering that Ortiz threw what HW's normally average 350-400 thrown (363 against Wilder, )I take into account his activity proves that either young HW's are lazy or Luis despite being the new-norm of boxers fighting into their 40s, will no doubt throw & land enough to make the fight watchable.

For example, Stats show Parker threw 560 to Ruiz 416. Taking into account they're usually off by a dozen or more, so if I add 20 more, it still shows Ortiz heading to age 40 is throwing what young guns are. Ortiz threw more against Wilder than Fury and landed more.

I agree with Leonard Ellerbe, this isn't a cakewalk fight considering no one has beaten him, not even a Split Decision.
And just like AJ, Wilder, Ruiz, Parker will have fought at least 4 times in 2918-2019. (5) for Ortiz meaning he has stayed active. No ring wars.

I got Wilder in a back n forth ebb n flow fight.

Dude, this is ridicuolus. The roided to gills Browne scored a come back from behind stoppage against shot Chagaev, got busted for peds, disappeared for 2 years, showed up about 20 lbs overweight, got KTFOd and went into irrelevancy until he got KOd by Dave ****ing Allen.

Hammer, Scott, old Thompson would all beat the Browne that fought Whyte, hell Dave Allen who was considered a joke of an opponent for Ortiz did beat him. It’s ridicuolus to claim he was top10 when he faced Whyte, It was ridicuolus that Whyte became a #1 challenger by beating him.

lol statements of fact? That makes your post even more hilarious

How do you nearly knock someone out?

you are either KOd or not, and Wilder miraculously wasn’t KOd or even unconscious nor did he touch the canvas

He was somewhat dazed ill give that, he literally soaked up everything from Ortiz even while he was dazed

I say barely dazed even because if someone spun you around and then asked you to go back to your corner you would struggle

But Deontay made it back effortlessly when the bell rang

Easier this time round for Wilder. Not Stiverne 2 easier, but around 5-6 this time.

Ortiz has done well to get another day pass from the old folks home (not easy to get let me tell you) but it will likely be in vain.

Ortiz is a way better boxer than Windmill. But he's twice his age at least and time catches up on us all.

I expect to see Windmill win by Windmill by round 5.

Then Windmill to run around the ring screaming like he actually had a meaningful victory.

I'd love to see Old Man River pull it off because he seems like a good egg. However, to the best of my knowledge, nobody, regardless of whether they happen to be a good egg or bad one, has managed build a working time machine yet and master the art of time travel and old senile past it fighters generally tend to deteriorate with the passing of time not get better.

It will have been 19 months since their first encounter by the time they climb into the ring for part II, or rather Old Man River Ortiz is assisted into the ring by his carers, and Ortiz with his cement feet and his massive melon which has always been a magnet for right hands even back when he was in his prime was getting lit up all night by the right hand of Christina Hammer last time out who is a journeyman plodder.

In fact, Hammer landed more rights on Ortiz's massive magnetic melon than he threw in that one (he couldn't miss with it) and that was an out of shape 257lb Hammer who ain't exactly quick even when in half decent shape (by his standards) so that doesn't bode well for the the old man's chances.

Bum Squad should get the old man out of there sometime between 1-4.

Ortiz will look in great shape. He’s lost some weight. He’s just too slow for Wilder now. He may not get out of the first. Three rounds tops.

Ortiz turns up in the same shape and with the same motivation level as Stiverne did.

Gets banjoed in under 5 rounds, and retires
