    They were smaller.

A 205 pound man getting dropped by a 185er is more forgivable pfp than a 250 pound man getting dropped by a 215 pound man.

Again im not asking anyone to change their point of view, im not emotionally invested in this.

But given the bio mechanics of the punch i cant tell there was nothing on that shot at all. I believe it looks very suspect. If that is knocking Helenius out then his family should be making him wear a helmet in his day to day life because its a serious problem

Did you see the knockdown in the 3rd Fury fight?

It's the opposite. Power increases over-proportionately as you move up in weight; a 15-16.5 stone fighter throwing a wild haymaker and connecting flush early in a fight can put all but the most concrete-jawed heavies down. Fury also recovers extremely quickly, Ali and Holmes had good recovery but both got KO'd, which hasn't happened to Fury despite fighting Price at 17, Wlad and Wilder x3.

And we've seen him knock them the **** out. I'm no fan (and you certainly aren't!) but there's always that edginess to his fights because we know he can knock virtually anyone out and quite quickly. It can all turn in the blink of an eye.

I'm not going to let personal hatred get in the way.

I didn't get one wrong lmao. I clearly stated that even Helenius going into the fight in ideal form had a 20-30%. Never suggested that "Helenius was some new man" rather that he had regained some earlier form in those fights. Mental gymnastics? Let's not go there. There's entire laundry list of failed predictions in which you've utilized the most ridiculous mental gymnastics in an attempt to justify. It takes someone with a bit of power and the will the win, the latter Helenius clearly did not have based on how he showed up tonight.

The sound demonstrates how solid the shot was.

Are you not familiar with the basic concept of walking into a punch and how much extra power that generates? Helenius literally knocked himself out. The punch was placed perfectly. It was sort of a check right hand.

As the great ancient historian, philosopher Glassjoecifus once said, those that live in glass houses should not throw stones at others.

Well you're making out it is predictable yet still have to cover two very different results. Predictable is a routine one sided fight with a virtually guaranteed ending.

Most true boxing fans will enjoy the matchup. Many will be extremely keen to see who might emerge victorious.

I know it was a dive. I actually missed the KO because I had it on in the background and it was obviously always going to end in one way. When I watched the replay I actually laughed out loud. He was slapped to his nose, he took a dive. He bounced his head on the canvas, so he might have been knocked out from that. What would I gain from lying about what I believe? Lol
Explain that to me. That was a dive and you know it

    It's really getting annoying.

Every KO we listen to this nonsense.

I do see that he had externally-rotated his shoulder prior to the throw. Not ideal - you're right. But I also see him internally-rotating his trunk and shifting his weight forward as he threw it. So that's where the power came from. Didn't look like a slap to me.

He also externally-rotates his shoulder immediately after throwing the punch - but I doubt you are referring to that.
