    Have you watched the video yet and do you concede that it was a punch to the nose?

    .

    You just issued flat denial of a point that is demonstrable by your own video evidence.

    That point was acknowledged;
    Guys have been knocked silly by shots landed to that area of the head before.

    *. Darchinyan rose with a bloody nose because that's exactly where the hook hit him.

    *Lest you raise the point, I'm aware that Donaire's was a more correct punch with a cleaner connection, but, as I said previously;

    With that said, @Betyabeatyaup,

    I do think you've been putting us all on at this point. Well done, if so. :lol:

    Are you being serious? Look at the video. Helenius is in position to throw a right (he’s side on), he gets slapped on the cheek/nose as he’s turning into it. His neck isn’t being snapped one way then the other, he is turning his head into that position along with his right hand. That’s why Wilder is looking away and trying to get away as he lands the cuffing slap. He half tried to slap him again but then he realised the flop was on that first slap. Then he had to try and pretend that it was a knockout punch lol. He had no idea he had hurt him at first, that’s because it wasn’t even a punch. Watch the first video I posted, it has a better angle and you can see how ridiculous the knockout ‘punch’ was. The angle of the second video I posted (the one you cut) does make the knockout look more legit, I posted that one because some people were claiming that it landed on his chin.

    I saw the aerial shot it it. He doesn't even rotate into it with his hips.
    He is actually moving backwards into the ropes as he throws.
    There is zero behind this punch. When you take the external rotation of his shoulder into account too i cant see this as real

    @Betyabeatyaup,

    Good grief. Yes, I'm being serious. The impact of the punch clearly rocks Bob's head to his right (Wilder's left) then to his left (Wilder's right). I'm not denying that Bob's momentum was assistive to Wilder's punch, but there's nothing unprecedented about that. Without the blow, Bob doesn't get turned into a bobblehead.

    If you want to say it was a slap, it was a slap, whatever. Words are starting to lose all meaning in this exchange.

    Time to sleep.

    Yes, and the jaw is not too far below the nose.

    Couldn’t agree more Serge. I made a big post maybe a year ago about AJs opposition and if we discount the wins and loses it’s on the same level as Fury’s in my humble opinion. Fury fought the better Klitschko and I prefer his 3 fights against Wilder over 2 Vs Uysk at this point in time, but after that Fury has bare bones.

    Dillon Whyte, a future top 5 guy that was ranked as the best challenger behind the current champs.

    Martin was a belt holder (although a very weak one in a historical sense) may have been in the top 10

    Takam was probably just outside the top 10

    Klitschko although past it was still one of the longest reigning champions in the division history, likely would have still been top 5 if he was active.

    Parker a current title holder & I’m guessing top 5 at the time he beat him.

    Povetkin a former world title holder & ranked as the 3rd best heavyweight for a number of years & arguably the third best heavyweight from the previous generation. No doubt in the top 10 when Joshua beat him, has now become a top 3 contender after KOing Whyte behind Joshua & Wilder.

    Andy Ruiz a unified champion as well a top 3 ranked heavyweight despite coming in out of shape

    BUM SQUAD is back baaaaaby.

    Pls give us the Joshua fight.

    AJ is overall the better fighter and athlete and has the much better resume and legacy but Wilder would still blitz him which is actually quite funny. That fight should've happened 3 years ago.

    Also walked into range without throwing anything to earn the right. Backing up Wilder is a great game plan but don't back him up with your shadow...

    There people here who thought Kovalev deliberately let Canelo punch him into unconsciousness.
    So, no surprise.
