    So, for a while now I've known this fight was taking place this upcoming Friday, twenty-seventh of June. What just became known to me today is that it's a PPV. :risas3:

    $25. :risas3::risas3::risas3:

    39 year old Wilder was scheduled to face Curtis Tyrone "The Hurt" Harper in April, a fight announced in January but subsequently canceled in February due to reported financial disputes with platform BLK Prime. With the delay, he will be facing over a year of inactivity when he steps into the ring. It will have been almost thirteen months since he was stopped by "Big Bang" Zhìlěi Zhāng.

    As for Herndon, he is on a 3 win streak since being stopped in 2 rounds by Richard Torrez Jr. in December of 2023. I promise, however, that you've never heard of anyone he beat during that run - or indeed, his entire career.

    "Well maybe there's a decent undercard to justify the pricepoint..."

    NOPE.

    You remember Lateef Kayode? He's being fed to a Cuban novice prospect named Gustavo Yerandy Trujillo Laza, if that's your idea of a good time.

    Oh and Jeff Page Jr. ring a bell? The guy that dropped a green Artur Beterbiev in the 1st round before getting pulverized? Yeah, he's taking on an 8-9 opponent. So that's fun.

    Sad that Wilder is still fighting. I hope he's not broke already. He has a lot of mouths to feed plus a big lawsuit to fend off, of course.

    Reminds of me of David Tua circa 2007 when he was still a big enough name to get attention but would be headlining rinky-dink PPV against the likes of Saul Montana. Worst money I've spent. :lol:

    Now that name is a blast from the past. Last time I remember seeing Kayode he was getting stopped by Luis Ortiz. Seems like a million years since that fight.

    I might get my money's worth if this was a $5 PPV. Can’t justify paying for crap. There is no entertainment value on this entire card. $25 is about the price of a movie ticket , popcorn, and a soda. But just like going to a movie there are shows I’d never pay to watch cause I know it sucks. This is the exact same scenario.

    The Return of the Bronze Bomber begins!
    Unfortunately it begins on a bs PPV so I'll be absent at this historic event.

    Because that was actually a rematch of their often forgotten first fight, which did in fact take place millions of years ago during the Cretaceous period.
