    Not looking for an argument. It was a genuine question.

    It just always bothers me when a guy gives the ref an excuse. He could have knocked him out if he just ran to the neutral corner. If Byrd was trying to screw him over, he made it easy on him by not doing so.

    Fair enough. No worries. It's not just what they do (the ref's) but it's the way they do it and their body language and that in addition to Byrd's track record for corruption is what convinced me.
