Not everyone goes into spastic mode. Wilder relies on knockouts in close fights so he feels the need to win by knockout. He doesn't have the confidence to fight a steady pace for 12 rounds , throwing two.punches at a time is why .

So far he's been out boxed 4 times in 8 title fights before winning / drawing. The 2 times he was winning was the same guy Stiverne so that really counts as one guy he outboxed.

    Guys Wilder out boxed.

    1. Stiverne.
    2. Molina
    3. Arreola
    4. Duhaupas,

That's it in title fights. Not one of them is top 20 if they were at their best now. Maybe Stiverne? Near 20.

Fury will dominate again, can even see him getting the stoppage late on as his conditioning will be better this thine around and he'll be sharper. We know Fury has iron whiskers so don't see Wilder having a chance. Best fight of 2018 last time around so could be another classic.

Fury is gunna be doing the wind-collapsed scarecrow impression on the bottom rope. Wilder's coming in 25lb of muscle heavier, he put him on his ass at 210. Fury can't let his guard down for a second, literally.

I favored Wilder slightly this time and now favor Fury. I wouldn't even be surprised at a Fury stoppage, if Wilder gets behind again and tries to step up the tempo.

Unless Wilder figures how to close the gap responsibly (i.e., not throwing bow and arrow right hands), he's going to have a tough time of it. But you can never count out someone with that much power who also has a tendency to land at least a few hard shots per fight. I'll be very interested to watch, that's for sure.

My point was that outside of Fury he's shown to be a good finisher. I have absolutely no idea what this has to do with my point

I think Fury just might surprise Wilder with a more offensive strategy and not letting him off the hook when hurt

A sharper Fury most likely out-boxes Wilder, although Deontay still has a punchers chance.
More grappling and leaning, coupled with better inside work from Fury will see him skate away with that green belt. Terrible match-making from Team Wilder, he's done imo.

I am not going to vote because the sad answer is Wilder by another screwjob.

The only chance that Fury has is of the WBC finally figures out that they aren't ever going to make any money off of Wilder, because so many know that he is a fraud. But then again, it seems like these fraud organizations don't really need a popular champ--maybe just one that agrees to pay the graft, or something. I don't know how it works.

In any event, Fury will come in with less fat, more muscle, the ring-rust completely knocked off, pitch a dominant performance, and get screwed again. I will probably take some time off boxing, as I considered doing after the "draw." When we reach a point when a talentless fraud like Wilder is a long term champ who can lose ten rounds and walk away with a draw, this really has become TV wrestling, and it is time to walk away.

    We will see.

I actually see Fury stopping Wilder. Fury will be so much fitter and better conditioned, whereas Wilder I feel will get his approach all wrong. If he comes in significantly heavier, he'll just be slower, easier to read and get hit more often.

Fury doesn't have particularly heavy hands but, at his best has very good timing and decent accuracy and I've always thought that Wilder is a KO loss waiting to happen because he's so ****ing sloppy. I just don't see Wilder changing things up enough to get a win.

Your point was that Wilder finished guys way more stating not even better fighters do with lower caliber guys.

My point was not every fighter goes out of their way to end fights , Wilder does because he falls behind in some , fighters that control rounds box far better knowing they are winning comfortably. Is Wilder actually better finisher then say a Lewis who coasted in fights ? Maybe but Furys the first competent boxer able to counter openings besides Ortiz and look what happened.

It's why Fury was the smart bet last time as Wilder s main weapon which is reach was compromised .

Point being Wilder has only stopped one top level guy in his whole career. Ortiz who's almost 50.

There has to be some guidelines when figuring out how good a finisher is beyond even knocking down Fury since its been done before and sooner when he's fresher.

Guys like Breazeale, Joyce , Joshua and Ortiz are all stackable to Wilder in finishing capabilities of they stung or hurt you . Even Miller could make a top 5 finisher around Ortiz level .

( Going back to the post I wasn't responding to ) Wilder has the best killer instinct that's correct but.........

Joshua is the best finisher ,he doesn't waste punches and calculated shots destroy guys when he wants them out they havent survived and would get brutalized with ref stoppage or not.

Fury will be more confident knowing he took Wilders best shots which sent him to Hell but Hell denied Fury a visa so he woke up.

Fury ramps up strength and conditioning and KOs Wilder

    Fury stops Wilder in 9.

    Judges call it a draw.

Fury has the best chance at winning in my opinion. He’s going to be in even better shape, sharper, capable of making adjustments, and will want to leave no doubts. Wilder while he may try following a new game plan, and has the greater power of the two,has been doing what he does for his whole career so like Mike Tyson said” Everyone has a plan till they get hit “.... meaning most will always resort back to what they have been doing even though they want to do different things.... Logic says Fury but Deontay’s power will be there all night.... I’m going with the better boxer and better ring iq ( Fury )

Fury will dominate him again in a boring fight with very very low punch output.
