Not necessary. It depends if your power is based on your muscles or from your bone structure.

After reading much Youtube-Comments etc, it seems to me more and more obvious that many (american) Wilder fans never saw the W. Klitschko - Fury fight 4 years ago.
Fury - at his aboslute best - weighs 247 lbs / 17.6 stone / 112 kg - and is faster, quicker and moves much more as he does at the weight of 256 lbs or more.

Click here (the clip starts on the right spot) and take a look again (for the american Wilder fans or ppl which never saw Wladi-Fury):

The 10th round of Klitschko-Fury. It is easy to see that Fury was not at 100% when he fought Wilder, he was slower and doged most punches. In his absolute best shape, he never stops, is all over the place and moves around.
Just watch this 3 minutes (10th round) and then decide.

I highly doubt Wilder would catch him once he would need 24 and not 12 rounds to find the mark on this non-stop moving Fury.
But yes, Wilder always claims Fury was at 100% when they fought. He lies, the scales doesnt lie!

But so or so i have more and more a gut feeling Davison is not the right trainer to bring him back to his best shape, uncle Peter would be the better choice. But of course its his own choice who his trainer is.
Maybe his body will never be the same as 4 years ago because of what he did to himself in 2016 and 2017 (Cocain, Alcohol, etc.)

    PS:
Of course Wilder has a punchers chance against ANYONE! But to claim Fury was at 100% when he fought Wilder is just a lie.

    All of this is true
The fault lies with Fury for ruining his body

    Fury UD.

Fury hurt Wilder a few times but never followed up, I think that there was times which he should have done but let slip. I’d like to see Fury push Wilder back more, take the centre of the ring and obviously not go back to the ropes as much.

This is Fury’s fight to lose.

It will take 1 punch for Wilder to win while 100+ for Fury to win. Only a fool cant see who has the better chance. Fury knocked out in round 6.

Fury threw about 200 punches vs an old klitchko and danced around the ring keeping wlad at distance. Good 10th and 12th rounds but Not asi mpressive as your making it out to be in terms of overall performance

Fury should fight him inside and clinch. Make use of his weight advantage, draining Wilder.

If Fury does that, he will be KO'ed even earlier!

Wilder finishes what he started in the 12th. Wilder in 3. Quite frankly he should be learning how to fight southpaw and come out using his right as a POWER jab of all power jabs, he could possibly score a stoppage that way as well. Fury fought a perfect fight last time, and still went down twice, the only one with room for improvement here is Deontay.

Oh man, seriously? He can barely function pawing a left jab and playing keep-away for as many rounds as it takes until he can find a home for the right cross (or windmilling overhand) now. You really think at 34 a dog as dumb as Deontay can incorporate new tricks (like completely reinventing the wheel and relearning the ropes from an opposite stance) into that little pea brain?

No, probably not. But it's worth a try, and unlike SSR's strategy of, this is a bad idea and I'm losing badly, keep at it until the 9th, maybe it'll start working eventually abortion of a strategy, Wilder can shitcan it after a round or two if it doesn't work. Wallin's success mainly came from the fact that he had a decent jab and was a southpaw, that right of Wilder's turned into a jab, could be a terror to behold. It might be worth a try. What the hell, you never know, it might be the one thing that actually clicks with Wilder. Crazier things have happened.

I'd just be worried (putting myself in the perspective of Wilder's camp; I'm temporarily on Team Gypsy for this one :sisi1) that a savvy operator like Fury would immediately start timing Wilder's rhythm as southpaw and recognize that he would be now even wider open for counter right hand (and despite his power not even being in the same galaxy as Wilder's, he did hurt Wilder visibly with rights after getting up from the knockdown to keep himself alive). We haven't seen too many super heavies land perfect on the button rights on Wilder's own chin..

Wilder by KO in round 8. I hate to say this, but I can't see Fury do what he did in the first fight. Really hope I'm wrong.

Fury should go for the KO. Letting Wilder throw freely is too dangerous. Wilder can't box, can't counter.
