If Wilder were to win this it would be in the later rounds whilst being very behind on the cards.

Whyte would outbox Wilder and make him look foolish, as do a lot of Wilder opponents.

The difference with Whyte is that he has the chin not to fold after a few of Wilders windmills. Whyte lasted vs AJ's bombs...this vastly improved version of Whyte won't take anywhere near the same amount of punches vs Wilder.

Whyte is completely wrong for Wilder.

I think Wilder would definitely win by KO, but 2 rounds is a bit early.

    Maybe mid to late KO.

    Not sure i agree.

I see it going the same way as the Ortiz fight.

Ortiz is more skilled than Whyte, but lacks Whyte's workrate and movement.

    Fair.

Whyte has the chin to survive what Ortiz went through. Wilder isn't a guy who puts sustained punishment on, which is what you need to break down someone with a granite chin like Whyte.

People are forgetting Whyte has a hell of a chin, he is a smarter fighter than he used to be ans I believe he'd have a real chance vs Wilder, Stiverne lasted 12 rounds can't see why Whyte can't

    He has certainly improved.

What he was saying post fight about being wary of Browne's right hand for every second of the fight and taking no risks is exactly the attitude Ortiz should have had in the fight.

Of course Wilder is far more dangerous than Browne, but the jab could cause Wilder huge issues.

It's the easiest way to beat Wilder. Just throw jabs for 12 rounds and stay at range. Someone like Fury would be willing to take that approach and would school him.

I don't think Whyte's on Ortiz level. The Browne win don't convince me. I think when a fighter needs fat burners to get in shape, then they should consider another profession. Lucas was probably at 50% since the Chageav fight, and he didn't look that impressive either.

Wilder was apprehensive the first time he fought Stiverne. He didn't realise how bad Bermane was and the second fight was how the first should have looked.

Hearn is being logical in trying to force that fight, Wilder and Haymon have good reasons both to take it or refuse it and fight Dominic instead, who is a comparable fighter. Nothing to see here, nobody's ducking anyone yet.

There's nowt strange about it, its straight forward. He didn't want Whyte incase it upset the chance of the cash out fight with Joshua. £4,000,000 has proven it, its fantastic money compared to what he's used too. He's not as confident of fighting Whyte as you are with him and many others. I think its 50/50

Firstly, he took eight full rounds to land that bomb against a 43 year old who had one fight in 2 years, was on blood pressure medication, who was almost pulled out of the fight a day earlier on medical grounds and was way past his prime. In the meantim, Wilder was seconds from being stopped in the 5th and needed extra recovery time gifted to him to survive the early part of the 6th.

Secondly, if it’s so easy for Wilder to beat Whyte then let’s see it!
Wilder can pick up his first win against a legitimate Top 10 ranked opponent, fulfil his mandatory defence obligations for a change, earn 5X his biggest ever purse and if he fights in the UK he’ll perform in front of the biggest ever crowd of his career. Add growing his profile in the U.K. and moving one big step closer to Joshua and really there’s no downside for Wilder in facing Whyte.

    Let’s get it on!

2 rounds is abit early... I agree wilder would probably win but it would be the late mid rounds to late rounds.. so between 7-12

Wilder should fight Whyte he's a bona fide contender now even if Browne was horrifically out of shape.

Wilder will body him though too explosive but Whyte is game and will come to win

Whyte will knock that glass jawed fraud out. Probably earlier than he did Browne. Wilder will take a canvas nap, just like Browne
