I have only one explanation, Wilder doesn't want to be a B-side with Whyte and probably he is also afraid of a "british stop" if this fight happens in the UK. 50/50 it's too big credit to Whyte, he isn't skilled as Ortiz, and he isn't fast enough for Wilder. I could agree that Wilder (or rather his team) is afraid of Whyte, but in this case Wilder would have never faced with Ortiz, because Ortiz at least isn't worse than Whyte.

Them decisions and biased ref's are as bad in America as they are anywhere else, Weeks and Byrd are the most corrupt officials in the game today. Germany America UK, there's not a fat lot between them

He holds a belt, that is it. Earning potential is where its at, and Wilders on bread and dripping for a Heavyweight champ born and bred in America, pennies

Why is everyone writing off Whyte? did they forget how many times Wilder has been outboxed and just relied on his KO power? Being 100% reliant on his right hand won't keep digging him out of trouble - someone very soon will withstand it and stop him, my money is on Whyte being the first of many.

Good to see Whyte has his left hook back, that punch would of flattened anyone.

Wilder could earn $3-4 million in a fight vs. Whyte in the UK. It would be twice what his historical maximum purse. Wilder should do it!

I agree and I think that Wilder's team prefers to have their own "home referees".

In fairness his right hand has done the job 39/40 times. It's not that he's just got a punchers chance, as many heavyweights in the past have had solid haymakers, but Wilder has the athleticism, range, and awkwardness to land it at some point during a fight, as he's proved.

When Wilder does get beat, it will be against a technically solid fighter that can punch. Could Whyte do it? Sure. I reckon he could outbox Wilder in spells, and catch him with something he doesn't see coming. The reality is that a rematch with Ortiz could easily result in a loss for Wilder. Having said that, Ortiz is technically better than Whyte.

Wilder can’t even knock C level boxers out in two rounds.

    Agree with all your points.

But current Whyte would do better vs Wilder than current (old age) Ortiz, its another pick 'em IMO. I genuinely believe Wilder (or at least 2 of his 4 managers) will try to avoid Whyte at all costs as he could ruin his AJ payday.

The facts right here. He's not good enough to be fighting average fighters for stupidly low figures, its going to back fire unless he takes the Joshua fight. One of the low tier fighters will beat him otherwise

So you guys are saying that Wilder should agree to fight Whyte before Joshua Parker fight, lmao and if Joshua wins...he should still fight Whyte and NOT negotiate a fight with Wilder? I hope Parker whoops Joshua’s ass, lmao!

Definitely not in 2 rounds, but can see it happening later in the fight, probably around 9-10 rounds. And after what I saw from Whyte on saturday, I think Whyte will be up on the scorecards when he gets drilled.
