Deontay.W #9 p4p by ESPN, very accurate assessment. He is the #9 p4p fighter everything considered.

Is there a points system to get their rankings here or is it just opinion based? In my opinion neither heavyweights belong in the P4P top 10 list.

I was thinking #9 HW not P4P. I was thinking Wilder could be higher than #9 HW but then thought there are several with either better resumes or better singular wins that could be rated above. I thought Wilder should at least be the #7 HW

I tend to find that lists get made up based on hype, knowing the fighters back story and mainly on opinion.

I used to find it amusing how if a fighter is known beating another fighter (Fighter A) becomes a big thing even if a lesser fighter not considered had already scored a win over (Fighter A)

 

I also thought for a second that they meant 9th at the weight and it felt plausable.

 

That is a disgustingly horrible top 10.

Neither Wilder nor Joshua are top 10 and Spence is way to high.....plus no Usyk.

 

Its a poinrs based system where writers decide there top 10 and the higher you are the more points you get .wilder is only there because some guy hard on drugs has wilder at like p4p number 3

 

No Usyk is utterly laughable, to be quite frank.

And Wilder didn't dominate Ortiz in the slightest, he got outworked and out boxed for the first four rounds and was very nearly taken out in the 7th. Wilder shouldn't be anywhere near the P4P top ten IMO, he has a poor resume for a champion with 7 title defenses and he has looked far from convincing in most of those wins. I'd eject both HWs in exchange for Usyk (top 3) and Canelo (8-10).

 

P4p implies the blunder has fought somebody , which he has not, excluding him from any list or discussion

 

Wilder in the top 10 P4P and ranked above Joshua too? April fools day isn't for another 7 months yet ESPN.
