Wilder is using the Trump plan of just saying something is true, and then idiots will believe it is hahah. Every time the fight gets close to happening, Wilder or his team refuse to have a meeting, won't talk to Hearn or make ridiculous demands. And Hearn keeps trying to get the fight made regardless of Wilder's unprofessional moves. Wilder is more than happy to fight an unready Fury or an old Ortiz or the rest of his 38 bums but when it comes to fighting AJ, he all of a sudden wants retirement money. The 50 million dollar offer wasn't real and that's why they didn't want to meet with Hearn. The 50/50 demand is unreasonable and they know it. Now Hearn has offered them an even better deal and they are again refusing to meet or even talk about it. So if you have a brain, you can'
t say that it is AJ or Hearn that is ducking

To be honest, as time has gone on it so far it feels like the blame for the AJ/Wilder fight belongs more in the Matchroom side. Signing up for a fight with Fury is a risky AF move, straight after fighting Ortiz no less. Gotta respect what Wilder is doing, tbh.

Come on be fair to team Wilder, they've been doing their utmost to find Wilder's pen to sign the contract they agreed, hell Shirley Winkle had to even refuse taking any meetings with Hearn and used every waking moment to try and find his pen, but clearly it's lost forever.

Luckily Fury was willing to accept a contract signed in crayon unlike Hearn, so it's clear who's ducking who.

Gotta respect Wilder for taking on an unproven HW and one who has been on a coke binge for 18 months.....

Yet the guy fighting two belt holders and two gold medallists isn't worthy of 'respect'?

    Cmon now.

While he went off the rails, this is a BS call.

This is as BS as your last comment, I never said anything like this. For a start, I directed my criticism at Hearn - this is a business decision.

Hearn etc will be waiting for the guarantee of max money and a gauge of the risk, Wilder is just trying to make the big fights and is taking a gamble - you're right, we've not seen for sure that Fury is at the top of his game yet.... but we've not seen that he ISN'T either.

Thats the whole point of my thread. Im trying to find out 1 single thing he has done to try to make THIS big fight, the big fight he keeps talking about, the big fight hes claiming hes done everything to try get made.

All Wilder wanted was a fair deal and the fight was on. I have no reason to believe that he didn't want that fight but I do believe that Hearn didn't want it and still don't want it. He knows that with one punch, his cash cow is a dead duck. That is a hard pill to swallow for a greedy self absorbed individual like him. Wilder agreed to every detail but the cash and I can understand that. He is about to make real good money with Fury and take the spotlight off Joshua.

It will happen when the business guys of both Aj and Wilders teams decide it is the right time, Wilder and AJ are just the figureheads AKA Knuckleheads who will attempt fistic damage to each others craniums, they do the fighting the men in suits do the negotiating.
