Wilder got ranked #3 WBC without fighting anyone ranked period! Now, will Wilder wait until someone simply gives him the title without his having to fight anyone? Wilder is 30 - 0 the last I read, but against people from the Old Folks Home..........

Wilder has been brought along very slowly and not had to go through the tough European level at HW which can end a career early due to how tough it can be. I am not sure Wilder would have had so many fights had he been in that tough European scene.
But the time may possibly be right for Wilder with Vitali retiring and Wlad getting on in years and possibly soon to retire or the possiblity of his age catching up.
I think Wilder will face many fighters based from America and due to him having a big fan base they will be considered big fights and good wins, possibly over Scott, Arreola as examples. Not bad fighters but fighters found when entering European level.
I like Wilder and he seems a good guy that I think will have people rooting for him, but until he takes a big step up, we will not know for sure what happens when he cant get someone out early

Scott another hyped wannabe that's made his career fighting cans. A 15-0 prospect arguably beat him and domestic level fighter Chisora KO'd him. Beating Scott at this point is nothing to brag about.

I don't disagree but its still better than the rest of his opponents which tells you how many bad fighters Wilder has fought so far.:deal

Wilder didnt carry the torch from Lennox Lewis directly, but he beat the next best thing.

The southpaw Lennox Lewis - Audley Harrison.

If we look back, we can trace Wilders lineage to greatness

    Wilder > Audley > Williams > Tyson > Holmes > Ali

That's part is highly debatable, but I have to agree Scott isn't all that. But he clearly would be Windmiller's best opponent to date and pretty able to 80-72 him.
