No, he won't. AJ has been consistently fighting world level opponents since 2016. Deonkey Wilder has been fighting world level opponents since 2018. Not to mention the huge gap in money between the two. Deonkey is asking for trouble if he thinks he will be the A-Side. Eddie and AJ will just ignore him if that is the case, and he knows it.

As a HW champ he isn't going to claim anything else......the fact is he will always earn more from a fight against Joshua than anyone else at present.....and he will accept less the 50% to make it happen

That will only happen if 1 the Fury fight actually happens and isn't just some big PR stunt and 2 if that fight generates more money than Joshua/Wlad did. I personally don't see either of these things happening.

Wilder/Fury will fall apart and then Wilder will fight Breazeale as the WBC have mandated it must happen by the end of the year. Wilder will say it was unavoidable as he had a mandatory obligation.

Wilder should throw Brazil in between and knock him out effortlessly to get him out of the way, i don't really think he needs a training camp for Brazil.

You don't become British and get the rabid British fanbase by beating Fury... so no!

Wilder a funny man with this.

(DW: "Tyson Fury is the next best challenge for me after Luis Ortiz. I feel Tyson Fury is the third best heavyweight in the world.)

    Who's he kidding lol.

    I actually liked the interview.

Can someome explain to me what Wilder meant by this comment?

" That's more money than he could produce in his own country, because his country has a cap. We don't have a cap in America, here we can make unlimited amounts of money and he still didn't want to do it. "

Is there really a "cap" in the U.K. that would limit a fighter (or anyone else) to how much money they could earn for one event? Or is he referring to higher taxes over there or something?

I think what Deontay meant is that British people do rarely wear caps, that's what he meant with "there are no caps". Rarely do you see British people wear Harris Tweed caps these days. Clearly, Americans prefer baseball caps.

That's really the only way Deontay's logic makes sense.

He's just referring to the fact it's a smaller population in the UK and the PPV model has a much lower pricing point than the US. This limits the UK's ability to generate revenue at a lower level than the US and Joshua has already saturated the market in the UK, he couldn't get any bigger or more popular.

The US market is also capped but at a much higher level it's not unlimited like he said. Wilder of course hasn't been able to tap into the US PPV market in anyway so far. He's a small fish in a very big pond right now, pretending he's a shark in this pond when in reality he's a minnow in the ocean.
