Wilder is wholly untested. He might be the goods or he might not. His KO ratio proves he has decent power at heavy and therefore poses that particular danger, but beyond that it's impossible to say.

Fury's a comical figure but the fact is he's a hell of a lot more tested than Wilder, and therefore a safer bet to pick.

My old trainer took Sconiers to fight Wilder. Sconiers trained in our gym for McCline, but never trained at all for Wilder. He dropped Wilder and basically got stopped himself because he was sucking wind in 2 rounds. Has anyone else seen the fight? This report came from a very reliable person.

He didn't almost get ko'd though did he, he got straight back up and went back to work.

Or perhaps they are intelligent enough (unlike yourself) to realize that a fighter rarely if ever gets to choose his own opponents, unless he becomes champion.

    -----------

What are you doing here, Zakman, shouldn't you be out searching for more fighters with "glass jaws?" That seems to be your hobby. I suggest you start with some guy named Muhammad Ali. He went down 4 times, 2X against extremely average fighters. Clearly, he has a glass jaw and will never amount to anything!

We all await your next report with baited breath.

Want to actually learn the facts before arguing about them?

    No?

    Bye bye then, yourself. :hi:

i hate it when guys don't train for fights like that

Sconiers could have done the world a favour by exposing Wilder

the sad truth is, too many of these guys are just happy to take the cheque and fall over like they are supposed to

Smashed in? He knocked him down. Big deal. - And this was when Wilder had been fighting a total of 3 years (incl. amateur) and maybe his tenth pro fight, with lots still to learn, like how to properly take a punch.

-And Wilder was "so smashed" That he came out in the next round & KD's Sconiers 2 more times, then knocked him out in the 4th.

Some of you guys are pathetic, and not just the chin-checkers. (who mostly DKSAB) Not one of you has yet to mention a single SPECIFIC thing Wilder does wrong. (and if you try, don't bother referencing some fight for 3 years ago.) When you say he has no skills, you just make fools of yourselves.

    So sad. Well, that's ESB.

Look......Wilder vs Fury would be an incredible fight. A mega fight no doubt. My problem with it would be WHY are they fighting as prospects rather than as legit contenders to titlists.

The fact is that both of them will be around for another 10 yrs and they'll have plenty of time to fight, maybe even have a trilogy or some ****.

I think Wilder should continue moving past the Manswells and Becks and into the Oquendos, Lawrences and Guinns.

Fury should do the same across the pond making fights with the Bahtovs, Bydenkos, and Gerbers.

he retreats straight backwards, head high. leans back to avoid blows using his height. cant bob, weave or duck. throws right hands off thefront foot, gets all spastic when throwing combinations. cant finish guys with precision combinations......hows that for starters?

talk about Price if you wanna talk about a good british HW. Fury is a sloppy joke that punches like a girl and almost got KO'd by a complete featherfisted gypsy bum with a less than 20% KO rate! C'mon son Fury is awful. Price and Wilder would both end him early. David Price vs Wilder is the real HW fight between prospects, first guy to land huge and it's lights out. Brits feel threatened clearly.

Deontay's fighting a decent fighter this weekend. A guy who beat Tor Hammer (who many consider to be one of the top american prospects). Tor just beat Johnson (Fury's last opponent). Funny thing is the Brits are hoping and praying that Wilder doesn't get the opportunity to fight good opponents and contenders cause they're afraid of what might happen, they pray for weak opposition for Wilder so they can keep talking ****. Their biggest fear is an actuial fight between Wilder and Fury getting signed. Meanwhile Wilder supporters want nothing more than to get that sloppy pikey Fury in the ring with Wilder. Tune into showtime this weekend, you're gonna see Wilder flatten a skilled HW who's as big as he is.
