He should go for the Zelenoff rematch

 

Wilder had surgery on his left should after the Fury rematch. I think, in this clip at least, his left jab looks really good.

Looking forward to see how he looks in the ring with Scott in the corner.

As I posted in another thread, Scott has been a longtime sparring partner for all the top heavyweights - from Wlad, Povetkin, Parker, Ruiz - he is up-to-date on how the top heavyweights and their camps work. He's been in the ring himself with most of the top heavys. He knows what works and what doesn't.

His experience will be a huge help to Wilder. Plus, they are friends. And Scott helps keep things light.

Breland, on the other hand, didn't train other fighters or heayvweights at all, didn't regularly attend fights involving other boxers, wasn't helping Wilder improve, and was a drain on the camp.

I think it was a good move on Wilder's part.

If Wilder gets his boxing skills back, in addition to his power, he can extend his career for many years. You can only bomb guys out for so long. You have to box, too.

 

Malik has also been a sparring partner for Lennox in the Manny Steward days.
Dont agree with your assesment of Breland but I am excited to see Wilder back.

 

I am excited to see Wilder back in the ring because he is an exciting fighter.

Bringing a trainer in with very little expirience, who is also a friend of his, sounds a whole lot like he is going to do what he wants and doesn't want a strict trainer. Doesn't want anyone telling him what to do, what to change, this is the Deontay Show. I could be wrong, but this looks awful from my perspective.

Wilder’s career is over. He is delusional. We’ve all seen this story before. A once overhyped and coddled fighter gets embarrassed and thinks it was a fluke. If Wilder fights Fury a third time Fury will knock him out in 2 or 3 rounds tops.

 

He doesn't look awful currently. His boxing is noticeably improved.

 

It's over? He will likely be fighting for the LINEAL title this summer. Some of you have been off about this guy all along.

Looking like you may have improved in a short training video where they selected his best moments is one thing. Taking on a new trainer and showing improvements your first fight back with a new corner is another thing.

I disagree. He would't survive the pressure AJ puts on him. He didn't survive Fury in the same manner.
