Before he started camp and apparently hardly threw it in preparation for the fight.

Apparently this is what he told reporters according to Benson.

    Excuses starting already?

Could be worse. Tyson fought Etienne with a broken back.

Only a broken pinky toe is a legit excuse.

Pretty sure we saw Wilder throwing the right hand/arm constantly through camp. Sounds more like a broken heart and a crappy excuse. Should have went with the toe.

Hearn probably went back to 12 million flat fee now Joshua vs Fury is far more interesting .

Yes yes keep making excuses. Don't change your training for the rematch Deontay, keep just loading up on right hands :)

Fighters usually have some kind of excuse for a poor performance, Haye's pinky toe, Holyfield's heart problems, Vitali's injured shoulder.

They might all be genuine but you never or rarely hear a fighter mention such an injury or ailment when they win convincingly. Fury for example couldn't shake peoples hands today with his right hand, clearly it's injured but he's not used it as an excuse for not KOing Wilder, but he likely would have had he lost and everyone thought he'd lost. Fighters need excuses for not winning, being a sore loser is sometimes why they are good at what they do in the first place, they just hate to lose.

He might genuinely be injured though he didn't look like it in the fight itself, but he's had a history of injuries, broke his hand vs Stiverne in the first fight, bicep injury vs Arreola I think, his bad technique probably increases his chances of injury.

Didn't the Lord Jesus Christ heal Holyfield's heart problems or was it later diagnosed as a shoulder injury......

Sorry. But you have the option of pulling out if your injury is that bad, despite what the fans may think of you.

He took on this fight without a gun being put to his head, and that's it.

No one forced him into it. He either pulls out on an injury and takes the flak and re schedules, or fights

Dennis Rodman broke his dick twice and was still ****ing with it.

    Deontay will be just fine.

When you are outboxed that badly you have to make an excuse, but it’s fairly transparent, cold, broken arm. Boils down to the same thing, excuses of a fighter that feels he has been beaten, otherwise why put these stories out. He was outclassed but his power saved him complete embarrassment.

He came in with a broken gameplan before the fight and never adjusted it in preparation.

    Broken arm my foot.
